Welcome to the #OPTUSeducation series, where we embark on a deep dive into the realm of Liquid Staking. Join us as we uncover the complexities, unveil the advantages, and explore the unique features of this crypto phenomenon. Along the way, we’ll shed light on how bemo is spearheading this revolution and reshaping the landscape of digital assets.

Fasten your seatbelts as we journey into the heart of Liquid Staking, where the future of crypto earnings awaits.

What liquid staking is and how it’s different from the classic version?

Traditional staking typically involves setting up a node, having robust hardware, and holding a hefty number of tokens (for instance, 350,000 TON). Your tokens are “frozen” in this process.

Liquid staking, on the other hand, tackles those technical hurdles, allowing you to stake any amount without locking up your tokens. Instead, you receive liquid staking tokens that you can put to work in the DeFi space.

How does the bemo mechanism work?

Bemo brings together users’ Toncoins into a pool and employs them for validating TON Blockchain, receiving rewards in return, which are then distributed among the users.

What are LSD tokens and how can you earn from them?

LSD tokens, like stTON, are liquid staking tokens that represent your share of staked tokens. Staking rewards accumulate in this token. You can use them just like regular tokens and employ them in DeFi apps.

For instance, you can provide liquidity on a DEX. This way, you can earn trading and farming fees in addition to staking rewards.

What types of LSD tokens exist, and which type does bemo provide?

There are two types of LSD tokens: rebase and value-accruing. In the case of rebase tokens, the income increases the token supply, whereas with value-accruing tokens, it enhances the token’s value.

bemo’s stTON falls under the category of value-accruing tokens.

What are the advantages of liquid staking? Any unique features of bemo?

The main advantage is liquidity. Liquid staking tokens work just like regular tokens: you can send them, sell them, stake them, provide liquidity, and earn staking rewards, all with just a few clicks.

We’re launching a mega campaign: stTON users can earn special stXP tokens through holding, swapping, or providing liquidity. These stXP tokens can later be exchanged for BMO tokens (there will be a dedicated section on the website for this).

Furthermore, we’ve introduced a new product called “The Raffle,” a perpetual lottery, and we have other exciting staking-based products currently in development.

How is the reliability of liquid staking ensured? Is the bemo protocol secure?

The smart contract of our dapp ensures that only you have access to your Toncoins. At the same time, they are always in the staking pool, participating in validation and generating income.

Liquid staking tokens, like stTON, are fully backed by a pool of Toncoins, and you can always redeem them and withdraw your Toncoin from the app.

And finally, what’s bemo’s superpower?

We aren’t just looking to the future — we’re creating it. Liquid staking is just the beginning. Our mission isn’t just to make staking simple, user-friendly, and understandable.

We want staking rewards to benefit every Toncoin holder, regardless of their blockchain tech knowledge. Most importantly, we want every bemo user to have the opportunity to significantly boost their capital’s returns without additional risk.
